Yes, we're back yall! Your favourite hosts from WBNY got together and decided that enough is enough, let's get crackin on this blog EARLY! (ou know we're from PA). And with that said, I stumbled across this article written by Hot 97's DJ Enuff about Jay Electronica (Prod. Nas - Queens Get The Money, Exhibit C etc.) which caught my eye. Since we're in radio, it records like this that often get swept under the rug by the corporate owned stations in favour of songs like Halo which will see a ridiculous amout of spins per week. So this week I've had the chance to catch up on things that I've been sleepin on, and one album that I've been meaning to get to is Elzhi's (Slum Village) The Preface. My boy Tommy Two (peep his show The Sunday Night Late Nite Hip Hop Fix on 91.3FM WBNY @ 12AM Monday) would probably smack me for this, but ayoooo! That album is one of the better hip hop albums of 2008, and it's a damn shame it took me until March of 2009 to realize this!

Last Night's Party...

Big ups to Hot Girlz Promotions for droppin thru and blessing us with their inspirational messages (and terrible singing skills lol), good looks and good food. If you missed last nights show, make up for it this Sunday night where we'll hear about everyone's Spring Break.
